BENDICIÓN DE LA PUERTA DEL
HOGAR

Sin restar importancia a las puertas santas de las Iglesias
asignadas, la Iglesia anima a los fieles a recordar que también sus hogares son
lugares santos. El hogar es donde vive la Iglesia doméstica. La puerta
principal por donde entramos y salimos cada día también nos debe recordar que
todo lo hacemos en Cristo quién dijo: "Yo soy la Puerta".
Aunque esta oración se compuso para el año jubilar se puede
utilizar en cualquier año.
Reunida la familia ante la Puerta Jubilar de su hogar, el cabeza
de familia ora:
La señal de la Cruz: En el nombre del Padre...
Lectura:
"Entonces Jesús les dijo de nuevo: En verdad, en verdad os digo: Yo
soy la puerta de las ovejas. Todos los que han venido delante de Mí son
ladrones y salteadores; pero las ovejas no les escucharon. Yo
soy la puerta; si uno entra por Mí, estará a salvo; entrará y saldrá y
encontrará pasto. El ladrón no viene más que a robar, matar y destruir.
Yo he venido para que tengan vida, y la tengan en abundancia"
(San Juan 10:7-10)
"El Espíritu del Señor está sobre mí, porque me ha ungido para
anunciar a los pobres la Buena Nueva, me ha enviado a proclamar la liberación a
los cautivos, y la vista a los ciegos, para dar la libertad a los oprimidos y
proclamar un año de gracia del Señor" (San Lucas 4:18-19)
"Contarás siete semanas de años, siete veces siete años; de modo
que el tiempo de las siete semanas de años vendrá a sumar cuarenta y nueve años.
Entonces en el mes séptimo, el diez del mes, harás resonar clamor de
trompetas; en el día de la expiación haréis resonar el cuerno por toda
vuestra tierra. Declararéis santo el año cincuenta, y proclamaréis en
la tierra liberación para todos sus habitantes. Será para vosotros un
jubileo; cada uno recobrará su propiedad, y cada cual regresará a su familia.
Este año cincuenta será para vosotros un jubileo: no sembraréis, ni segaréis
los rebrotes, ni vendimiaréis la viña que ha quedado sin podar, porque es el
jubileo, que será sagrado para vosotros". ( Levítico
25:8-12)
Bendición:
"Bendito seas, oh Señor Dios nuestro, porque tu guías nuestros pasos. Tu
bendices nuestras entradas y salidas; desde que nacemos hasta que morimos, nos
tienes bajo tu cuidado. Bendice esta puerta, Oh Señor, la cual consagramos para
este tiempo de preparación.
Cada día que pasemos por este lugar, atráenos mas
profundamente hacia tu presencia y a las maravillas de tu amor por nosotros. Tu
eres la puerta del Reino de los Cielos, la puerta hacia la vida eterna. Oh
Portal de eterna paz, nuestro nuevo y vivo camino, desata nuestros pecados y
abre para nosotros la puerta de la salvación.
Oh Dios, protege nuestras entradas y salidas; permítenos
compartir la hospitalidad de este hogar con todos aquellos que nos visiten.
Que los pobres encuentren descanso dentro de estos muros y todos los que padecen
hambre encuentren alivio en nuestro hogar.
Guíanos Señor hacia ti, por tu misericordia, y llévanos
contigo a la Patria celestial. Tu que vives y reinas por los siglos de los
siglos. Amen.
Ponga el sello del Jubileo o la cruz del Jubileo en el marco o
en la puerta.
Todos pueden cantar el himno "a Jesucristo Nuestro Rey
Soberano" o alguna otra canción apropiada. Por ejemplo "Tu Reinarás".

BLESSING
OF A JUBILEE DOOR AT HOME

Gathering before the Jubilee Door, the head of the family prays:
Sign of the Cross: In the name of the Father....
Reading:
"So Jesus said again, 'Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the gate for
the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep
did not listen to them. I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved,
and will come in and go out and find pasture. A thief comes only to steal and
slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it more
abundantly'". (John 10:7-10)
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to
bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives
and recovery of sight to the blind, and to let the oppressed go free, and to a
year acceptable to the Lord". (Lk 4:18-19)
"Seven weeks of years shall you count -seven times
seven years- so that the seven cycles amount to forty-nine years. Then, on the
tenth day of the seventh month let the trumpet resound; on this, the Day of
Atonement, the trumpet blast shall re-echo throughout your land. This fiftieth
year you shall make sacred by proclaiming liberty in the land for all its
inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when every one of you shall return
to his own property, every one to his own family estate. In this fiftieth
year, your year of jubilee, you shall not sow, nor shall you reap the after-growth
or pick the grapes from the untrimmed vines. Since this is the jubilee, which
shall be sacred for you". (Lv 25:8-12)
Blessing:
"Blessed are you, O Lord our God, for you guide our footsteps. You bless
our coming in and our coming out, from birth to death, you hold us in your care.
Bless this door, O Lord, which we consecrate to this time of preparation. Each
day we pass this place, draw us more deeply into your presence and the wonders
of your love for us. You are the door to the Kingdom of God, the sheep gate to
Life Eternal.
O portal of eternal peace, our new and living way, loose our
sins and open for us the door of salvation.
O God, protect our going out and our coming in; let us share the hospitality of
this home with all who visit us. May the poor find rest within these walls and
all who hunger find refreshment in our home. In your mercy lead us to you, and
take us to our heavenly home. You, who live and reign for ever and ever.
Amen".
Place the Jubilee seal or cross on the door or door frame.
All may sing the hymn "To Jesus Christ our Sovereign King"
or another
appropriate song.
